The Iraq Energy Forum (IEF) will be held in Baghdad, at the Al Rasheed Hotel on 12 December 2012.
This is an initiative founded and hosted by the Iraq Energy Institute (IEI), the official advisor to the Federal Parliament of Iraq on energy policies.
Iraq Energy Forum is taking place at a time when Iraq is assuming its position as a major oil producer and an emerging economy, to positively influence regional development and reshape global supply at large. The Iraq Energy Institute greatly values this opportunity to share with top industry leaders and decision makers its vision for a sustainable economy and a progressively successful Iraq.
In line with the State’s Vision to turn Iraq into an energy powerhouse and swing producer by 2020, Iraq Energy Forum will pave the ground for a professional dialogue amongst energy stakeholders covering key topics including Oil & Gas Development, Policy Reform, Power & Infrastructure, Capacity Building, and more.
The Iraq Energy Forum initiative underlines the Iraq Energy Institute’s vision and the country’s firm commitment to maintaining a sustainable environment while focusing on long-term economic growth for a better tomorrow.
