Please, no negative comments about those victims in this either, they are already hurting enough over this.

In conversations with my private banker today, I became aware of a scam being run on IQD investors that you need to be made aware of.
A group is calling IQD holders and saying they are “affiliated” with one of the Big 4 banks. They are telling investors they (this group) are helping the bank prepare for the upcoming revaluation. They tell the investor that in order to get the best price and no hassles, the scam artists are offering for investors to bring in their IQD, deposit with them, and give the investor a receipt. All legitimate correct. NOT!
This group is NOT part of that bank! The investors have no clue where their IQD went. This was only found out this week when one of the victims happened to go into the bank to discuss the upcoming revalue.
This has primarily been limited to the New York, New Jersey area so far.
I have no clue how this group got the names and numbers of the investors or how they know what bank they are banking with.
